Many veterans of our U.S. Armed Services require relief from a wide variety of afflictions. This week on WGBY’s bilingual (English-Spanish) show Presencia, we explore available resources and what it means to seek out assistance. Co-host Veronica Garcia chats with Gumersindo Gomez, executive director of the Bilingual Veterans Outreach Centers of Massachusetts, and Jesús Manuel Ríos Díaz, member of the National Guard of Puerto Rico. Co-host Zydalis Bauer introduces Priscilla Morales, a young woman who knows what it takes to find trust in a mentor and climb out of depression. We will also meet 2016 Springfield Veteran of the Year Eric Rosa and hear the powerful Puerto Rican singing voice of Charlie Berrios.
