Artist/Muralist Carlos Hernández Chávez
Considered one of the first Mexicans to settle in Hartford, CT, artist/muralist Carlos Hernández Chávez has established himself as a leader in the arts community and a dedicated humanist. A self-taught musician, his his pursuits have included recordings with RCA of Mexico, and tours in Spain and Trinidad-Tobago. His murals are in display in Connecticut and London, and his work is in private and institutional collections in the UK, Greece, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico and Netherlands.

Los Gigantes de la plena
Los Gigantes de la plena junto a Freddy Rivera Angulo son una agrupación puertorriqueña que llevan en alto su cultura, Folclor y su música típica. Es una banda de 12 integrantes. Dentro de sus proyectos también dan talleres de bomba, plena y baile para así fomentar su cultura en nuestra región.
