This week, WGBY’s bilingual show, Presencia, is all about health and wellness — whether in the physical form or the spiritual. First, co-host Veronica Garcia talks to Springfield resident Israel Flores and Dr. Lissa Berroa Garcia, a resident physician of internal medicine, about disease and its effects on individuals and families. Then, we meet Triny E. Vargas, director of Restitution of the Fine Arts Institute & Ministry, a school for budding artists. We hear the songs of Leilany C. Bezares, a singer/musician currently working at the Church in Westfield and soon to graduate from Springfield Technical Community College. Finally, co-host Zydalis Bauer introduces Jesus Rodriguez, whose brush with death at a young age helped shape the author he is today.
